Logline


'Ireland, 1923. A young man, Padraig, returns home after having served in the British Army during World War One. He struggles to readjust to civilian life, his experiences of the trenches never far from his mind.'

Production


Shellshock is a short film produced by the graduating students of the BA Media Arts course at Dublin Institute of Technology in 2011. The film was made in association with Special FX Ireland. It was filmed over five days at locations in Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare. It's post-production took place at DIT Aungier St. Since completion, Shellshock has screened in numerous film festivals and events, and has won several awards.
