2012 Underground Cinema Awards- Full List of Nominees

Shellshock has been nominated in four categories- Best Independent Film, Best Director, Best Cinematographer and Best Editor. The awards ceremony takes place on Saturday 29th September in the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire.

Underground Cinema Film Festival 2012

Shellshock will be screened as part of the 2012 Underground Cinema Film Festival's shorts selection on Sunday 16th September. This is the closing day of the festival, which begins on Thursday 13th September.
The film will feature in the Student Short Program 2 in the Martello Suite of the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire.
The screening starts at 3.45pm, and will be followed later on in the evening by the festival awards at 7pm. These are separate to the Annual Underground Cinema Awards, which take place later in September. Congratulations to all cast & crew.

Underground Cinema Awards 2012

Shellshock has been nominated in four categories for the forthcoming Underground Cinema Awards. The nominations were selected from the films shown at Underground Cinema's monthly screenings over the past year. The categories in which Shellshock has been nominated are:

Best Independent Film
Best Director
Best Cinematography
Best Editing

Shellshock Nominated for Best Short Film Award in Australia

Shellshock has been nominated for the Best Short Film Award at the 15th edition of the Auburn International Film Festival for Children & Young Adults. The specific category refers to short films that were made by adults for/about youth which are deemed to be rated MA 15+ by the Australian Classification Board.
Additionally, Shellshock is the only Irish film that has been selected for the festival's nomination line-up, which comprises of films from 25 countries worldwide. The festival takes place in Sydney, Australia from September 17th to 21st 2012.
