Shellshock Wins at Shire International Short Film Festival

'Shellshock' has won the Audience Choice Award Certificate of Merit following its screening at the Shire International Short Film Festival in Australia, congratulations to all cast & crew.

New Film Project

My follow-up short film to Shellshock, entitled 'All Mortal Flesh', is now in preproduction, with the intention of premiering later this year. Further information about this project can be found via its official blog:

Shire International Short Film Festival

'Shellshock' has been selected as part of the 4th Annual Shire International Short Film Festival, taking place on March 20th 2013 in Sydney, Australia. Shellshock is the only Irish film chosen among a selection of shorts representing eight countries worldwide. Congratulations to all cast & crew.

Dame District Christmas Market Screening

'Shellshock' will be screened as part of a selection of short films during the Dame District Christmas Market in Dublin tomorrow evening (Wednesday, 19th December). The screening will take place in the Electric Lounge at Speakeasy on Georges St, and will begin at 8.30pm. Entry is free of charge and all are welcome.

National Media Conference 2012

On Saturday November 10th, 'Shellshock' writer/director John Corcoran will appear as a panellist at the 'Making the Leap from Student to Professional' talk as part of the 2012 National Media Conference, to be held in Trinity College, Dublin. He will appear alongside guests such as Cannes prize-winning commercials director Stevie Russell and acclaimed music video director Simon Eustace, and will discuss his experiences as a student filmmaker, the making of 'Shellshock', and his post-graduation career to date.
